When I look back on all these worries I remember the story of the old man who said on his deathbed that he had a lot of trouble in his life, most of which never happened.

I do have OCD.
It’s not something people notice.
And someday, I will marry someone who doesn’t care.
Because it has nothing to do with the person that I am.
And neither do my anxiety issues.
These things don’t control my life. I just have to deal with them. I don’t want anyone to “fix” me.
But maybe someday I can say, “I used to have OCD.”
